Man helps the police to locate cell phone in Detroit due to craigslist
Along with lots of other facilities, craigslist is helpful to search stolen items. This site could find out the stolen items listed for sale. In Troy, Mich a person’s cell phone had been stolen. The victim reported about the theft of his cell phone while he was at gym. Later on he was able to trace it on craigslist. The stolen cell phone was listed for sale. It was very big loss for victim. He wanted to get it back at any cost. It was about $600 and victim worked used it for important work. In the ad all necessary info was provided. The seller reached at decided place. The thief was hardly of fifteen years of age. Teenager was in gym when the cell phone was stolen. He was suspected for this robbery. Compeau who is victim told the police that he was totally unaware about the stolen item. He does not have any idea. The youngster was arrested and nothing charged till yet because no acts of robbery were proved. The case is still pending. Investigation is still in process. The local police also advice the people does not try to trace thieves at internet unless you have police cooperation. It could be dangerous for victims.
